Many K-Sun LabelShop printers have been discontinued, making K-Sun printer owners in Canada nervous about the availability of LabelShop tape cartridges. Fortunately, while K-Sun was acquired by Epson in 2013, K-Sun’s legacy lives on under Epson’s LabelWorks PX brand.

The new K-Sun printers are now known as Epson LabelWorks PX printers.. These new printers use LabelWorks PX tape cartridges which are updated. LabelWorks PX tape cartridges are also fully compatible with the discontinued K-Sun LabelShop printers. (Note, older LabelShop tape cartridges are not forward compatible though; they will not work in the new LabelWorks PX printers).
