Full Color Flexible Packaging Press
The Afinia FP-230 uses the L901 Plus printer and Memjet technology to print in vibrant, full color. The FP-230 is an onsite, on demand flexible packaging press that brings the power of a professional printer to your warehouse or production line. It prints full color graphics and text in crisp 1600 dpi resolution onto ARTYSIO Packaging Films and can produce custom flexible packaging at speeds up to 18m/minute.
The FP-230 supports large rolls up to 250mm (10”) in diameter and uses water-based inks. When used with the optional in-line cold laminator (sold separately), these inks are approved for food packaging. The Afinia FP-230's rotary knives will trim your finished roll to the perfect width.
Another optional add-on to consider is Northstar RIP for both variable data and color matching. Variable data allows you to easily create custom packaging for products that have unique information such as batch number, expiration date, or zip code. Color matching tools allow you to ensure colors are consistently vivid and accurate across large batches of printed materials.
Sihl ARTYSIO Films
Ideal for a wide variety of product applications, including cosmetics, supplements, pharmaceuticals, and liquids as well as food items, ARTYSIO films by Sihl are optimized for the Afinia FP-230. These high-performance films feature a base layer, facestock, and inkjet coating and are independently "made for recycling" certified.

- The L901 Plus is the print engine powering the FP230. It is utilizing all L901 Plus supplies, such as inks and printhead.
