This durable label rewinder for Epson TM-C3500, TM-C7500, CW-C6000 and CW-C6500 color label printers is placed in front of the printer where it takes up labels as they are printed and winds them onto a fixed 3-inch core holder. The label rewinder easily holds up to 5-inch wide label rolls with an outside diameter of up to 10 inches.
Using this label rewinder with your Epson ColorWorks TM-C3500, Epson TM-C7500, or Epson CW-C6000 / CW-C6500 label printer helps to keep the printed labels neat and compact while also allowing your operator to step away from the printer during print operations. Once rewound onto a core, the labels can be stored, shipped, or placed in a label applicator, label cutter, or label finishing system. You can also pair the label rewinder with our label unwinder (sold separately), which sits at the rear of the printer and create your own roll-to-roll printing system.
How the LR40x Label Rewinder Works
The label rewinder’s tension arm adjusts its speed. When the arm is down, it’s set to full speed. An adjustment knob can also be used to adjust the speed. The label rewinder will beep when there are no more labels to be wound.
When the printer forwards the media for printing, the tension arm goes down, and the media is rewound. When the tension arm is in the middle position, the label rewinder is idle. When the printer pulls back the media, the tension arm goes up and the label rewinder unwinds the media.
The label rewinder can be configured to wind the labels facing in or facing out. It is powered by an external power supply (100/240VAC - 2.5A at 24V) and protected by a 2A fuse.
