Circuit Board Labels
DuraFast Label Company manufactures durable, heat-resistant circuit board labels for thermal transfer printers. Because electronics generate heat, circuit board labels -- and their adhesives -- must be able to withstand high temperatures without degrading or melting.
DuraFast’s circuit board labels are made from 2mil white polyester facestock with excellent tear strength, opacity, chemical resistance, and heat resistance. The smooth synthetic printable coating can stand up to the conditions present on a circuit board. High-performance clear permanent adhesives bond our circuit board labels to most substrates, ensuring the labels stay firmly in place under intense heat.
For circuit board applications, DuraFast Label Company provides labels in 0.24" x 0.31" and 1" x 0.62" sizes. If you need a custom size, we can produce these same circuit board labels in any width or length.
Our circuit board labels are ideal for use on printed circuit boards, discrete components, and wire harnesses. They can also be used to identify tubing, pipes, electrical connections, relays, solder points, switches, transistors, capacitors, resistors, diodes, laboratory samples, memory cards, medical devices, LED devices, aerospace components, automotive components, power supplies, communications equipment, and other items that are exposed to high operating temperatures.
Circuit Board Label Printer Compatibility
We recommend using DuraFast circuit board labels with 2-inch thermal transfer printers like the GoDEX RT200i, TSC TTP-225, TSC TTP-323, or Zebra TLP 2824 Plus. In fact, we engineered these circuit board labels with these printers and their print technologies in mind.
If you're in the market for a circuit board label printer, here's a quick snapshot of the recommended 2-inch circuit label printers:
- GoDex RT200i -- The GoDex RT200i is a fast thermal transfer printer with a max print speed of 7 inches per second (ips). Both 200dpi and 300 dpi versions are available.
- TSC TTP-225 -- The TSC TTP-225 is a 200 dpi thermal transfer printer with a max print speed of 5 ips.
- TSC TTP-323 -- Want a higher print resolution? The TSC TTP-323 is identical to the TTP-225 but with a 300 dpi print resolution and a max print speed of 3 ips.
- Zebra TLP 2824 Plus -- The Zebra TLP 2825 Plus offers 203 dpi and a print speed of 4 ips. It is one of the smallest desktop 2-inch thermal transfer circuit board printers available.
In addition to being compatible with the printers listed above, our circuit board labels can be used with other 2-inch Zebra, GoDex, TSC, Toshiba, Honeywell, Intermec, Printronix, and other manufacturers.
Circuit Board Thermal Transfer Ribbons
Because of the heat resistance needed for circuit board labels, we recommend using our high-performance wax-resin or resin ribbons. These ribbons are specifically formulated to provide excellent image quality and durability when used with our heat-resistant polyester circuit board labels.
