Built for short-run label printing, VIPColor label printers are the perfect solution for companies that want to bring their product labeling in-house. We offer several VIPColor high-speed colour label printers designed for outputting high-quality, high-resolution color product labels, tags, and specialty labels with minimal fuss. With print speeds of up to 60 feet per minute, you'll be able to churn out labels at lightning speeds!

VIPColor's latest models are powered by Memjet technology and are available with either standard dye or dye-enhanced, water-resistant inks. Memjet-powered printers use a page-wide stationary printhead and are notable for printing 1600 dpi labels at high print speeds of up to 60 feet per minute, depending on the model.

  • Standard dye inks are food safe, water-based, and provide excellent print quality at an affordable price.
  • Dye-enhanced inks offer greater water resistance, allowing you to produce durable, water-resistant labels for products likely to encounter moisture, like craft beer bottle labels, shampoo labels, and more.

Check out the VIPColor printer models below for more information on VIPColor label printers.

VIPColor VP500 and VP550 -- Built for Small Businesses

VIPColor label printers are available in several different models to suit your specific labeling needs. The entry-level models are the VIPColor VP500 and VIPColor VP550. Both the VIPColor VP500 and VP550 come with an external unwinder.

The VIPColor VP500 and VP550 are identical except for the inks used in each model. Both the VIPColor VP500 and VP550 use individual CMYKK 200 ml ink cartridges. The VP500 uses standard dye-based inks, whereas the VIPColor VP550 uses dye-enhanced, water-resistant inks.

These fast Memjet-based printers print 1600 dpi labels at 6 inches per second (best print quality) or 8 inches per second (standard print quality). They are well-suited for small businesses looking to print labels for small-batch specialty products.

Whether you want to print beautiful, vibrant candle labels, coffee and tea labels, or durable, water-resistant labels for cosmetics, craft beer, or body wash, the VIPColor VP500 and VP550 are affordable, reliable options.

Outstanding Value: The price of the VP500 / VP550 includes the external unwinder, the printhead, and 5 ink cartridges (2 black cartridges, 1 cyan, 1 magenta, and 1 yellow).

VIPColor VP610 and VP660 -- Built for Growing Business

Built for small-to-medium enterprises, the VIPColor VP610 and VP660 are faster versions of VIPColor's entry-level models. Like the VP500 / VP550 printers, the VP610 and VP660 colour label printers also come with an external unwinder. With print speeds ranging from 6 to 12 inches per second (best print quality vs. standard print quality), they get the job done quickly!

The VIPColor VP610 and VP660 are identical except for the inks used in each model. The VP610 uses standard dye-based inks, whereas the VIPColor VP660 uses dye-enhanced, water-resistant inks. The VIPColor VP610 and VP660 use individual CMYKK 250 ml ink cartridges (50 ml larger than the VP500 / VP550 ink cartridges). With higher ink capacity, you can print even more labels before replacing the cartridges.

These printers are ideal for companies that need to produce large volumes of labels quickly and efficiently. If you need to print thousands of labels daily, the VIPColor VP610 and VP660 can easily handle the job.

Outstanding Value: The price of the VP610 / VP660 includes the external unwinder, the printhead, and 5 ink cartridges (2 black cartridges, 1 cyan, 1 magenta, and 1 yellow).

VIPColor VP700 and VP750 — Printers with an Internal Unwinder

If you prefer a printer with an internal unwinder, check out the VIPColor VP700 and VP750. The VIPColor VP700 and VP750 have the same features as the VP610 and VP660, respectively, but with an internal unwinder instead of an external one. This means you don't need extra space to accommodate an external unwinder because your label rolls will be stored inside the printer.

The VIPColor VP700 and VP750 are ideal for small-to-midsize companies with limited space because they have a self-contained unwinder. These printers are also a good choice if you plan to move your printer around frequently because they are more compact and lightweight than the models with an external unwinder. Like the VP610 and VP660, the VP700 and VP750 use individual CMYKK 250 ml ink cartridges.

Outstanding Value: The price of the VP700 / VP750 includes the internal unwinder, the printhead, and 5 ink cartridges (2 black cartridges, 1 cyan, 1 magenta, and 1 yellow).

VIPColor Ink Cartridges

VIPColor offers high-capacity ink cartridges for their label printers. Each printer takes 1 cyan, 1 magenta, 1 yellow, and 2 black ink cartridges. The VP500 and VP550 use 200 ml cartridges, while the VP610, VP660, VP700, and VP750 use 250 ml cartridges.

The standard dye ink is suitable for most applications. However, if you need your labels to be water resistant, we recommend ordering one of the VIPColor label printers that use dye-enhanced inks. VIPColor’s dye-enhanced ink is specially formulated to resist smudging and fading, even when exposed to water.

VIPColor inks are sold in single packs or 5 packs. The 5 packs are the better value, saving you 5% on the ink cost and ensuring you have all the ink you need to keep printing.

DuraFast Label Company sells VIPColor ink cartridges for all of the VIPColor models we sell:

Why Choose a VIPColor Memjet Colour Label Printer?

Whether you run a small business or a mid-sized enterprise, Memjet-based VIPColor label printers can help you save time and money.

  • Print speed. With print speeds of up to 12 ips, they are some of the fastest label printers on the market.
  • Print quality. They also produce vivid, smudge-free, high-quality labels with resolutions up to 1600 dpi.
  • Food safety. If you are in the food and beverage industry, VIPColor's water-based, 100% food-safe inks are ideal for printing labels that will come into contact with food.
  • Low total cost of ownership. VIPColor label printers have a low total cost of ownership thanks to their affordable purchase price, high ink capacity, included supplies, and low operating costs.

In addition, VIPColor VP500, VP550, VP610, and VP660 include an external unwinder, making them a great value. Competing printers like the Afinia L701 do not, so you'll have to spend an extra $500-$1,000 to purchase an external unwinder with competing printer models. The VIPColor VP700 and VP750 include an internal unwinder, making them even more compact and easier to move around.

If you need a high-quality, fast, and affordable label printer, VIPColor is the way to go.
